4.4 — The Larger Consciousness System (LCS)

4.4 The Larger Consciousness System (LCS)

If consciousness is the fundamental reality, then it must have some kind of structure. In My Big TOE, that structure is called the Larger Consciousness System (LCS).

Think of the LCS as a vast, evolving information system. It is not a “person” or a “thing” but a dynamic, self-organizing whole that contains all individual consciousness units (IUOCs) —including you.

The LCS has one fundamental drive: to reduce entropy by evolving toward greater organization, cooperation, and love.

Picture the LCS as the Internet. It’s not a single website or app—it’s the whole network. Each user (that’s us) logs in with their own device (the body-avatar) and connects to countless others.

And just like the Internet, sometimes the LCS feels lightning-fast, and sometimes… well, your ego bandwidth causes a little lag.

Q13: According to this, what is the LCS?

A) A galaxy located at the edge of the universe.
B) A learning environment where individual units evolve.
C) The larger system of which we are all parts.
D) Oriented toward lowering entropy through choices based on love.

Q14: What is the Larger Consciousness System (LCS) according to My Big TOE?

A) A person or deity that rules over everything.
B) A vast, evolving information system containing all consciousness.
C) A galaxy located at the edge of the universe.
D) A scientific theory unrelated to consciousness.

Q15: What is the fundamental drive of the LCS?

A) To expand indefinitely without purpose.
B) To generate random experiences with no meaning.
C) To control every detail of our lives.
D) To reduce entropy by evolving toward love and cooperation.

Q16: Which analogy best illustrates the idea of the LCS?

A) A television channel broadcasting one program.
B) A single computer running a closed program.
C) A filing cabinet where memories are stored and never change.
D) The Internet: a vast network of connections, with each user as a node.
